At World’s End – European Street Team Weekly Challenge

Happy Monday!!! :)  I have been picked to host this week’s EST Challenge.  Every week the members of the European Street Team on Etsy create something in keeping with the current challenge theme.  Last week Inger of Ingermaaike was the host and chose the theme Mythology.  All entries may be viewed on Inger’s blog.

My challenge entry Calypso’s Captive was inspired by Homer’s Odyssey, specifically the tale where Calpyso falls in love with Odysseus and holds him on her island for seven years until she was made to release him.

The theme I have chosen for this week’s challenge is

“At World’s End”

and can be interpreted as either of the following:

2012mystery_exp At-World-s-End-pirates-of-the-caribbean_exp

  • Armageddon or your idea of what the end of the world will be like;or
  • inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

I look forward to all the wonderful creations by the EST members!

This challenge is open until Monday 30th November 2009.  The new winner will be picked at 9pm CET.
